Tammy Lewis Young passed away in July of 2012. She left behind her son Chad and his new wife Samantha. They have a daughter and just had a little boy a few months ago. She lost her battle with cancer that she fought for years. Her Mom and best friend Margie was beside her everyday. Theresa Garst and myself, Beth Snow miss her so! We had many good times and lots of great memories!
this girl was my friend since second grade, the first person that talked to me when i started school at Avondale. i sat in a swing alone and shy and when i looked up there stood a cute little girl with red hair and freckles and asked if she could swing with me .it was a life long friendship that ended only when she passed away last year . times spent with her and beth were the best years of my life ! we lost touch for a brief time but became close again in her last few years . She was so brave and courageous and would have tried any treatment in order to survive another day to watch her son and family grow and to be with her mom just another day . She was kind and caring and would have gave you the shirt off her back .i miss her and the friendship we had but i know she is pain free and living in glory !
