Billy was my first friend in the universe. He lived across the street from me on Moss Lane and was my best friend from the ages of 3-7! The first football I ever threw was to Billy. The first snowball I ever threw was AT Billy. We wrestled, perused the alleys, caught bugs, played with Hot Wheels, and mainly got in trouble, blaming each other along the way. Great memories. I miss my buddy.
Billy was my best friend in high school. He and I had fun everywhere we went. I have very few memories of my high school days that don't include him. I was very saddened to hear about him a few years ago.
Bill was a wonderful friend that would always stick up for you no matter what. Fiercely loyal and generous and always there when you needed a friend. Bill had a way about him that could make the sad times feel happy. (if that makes any sense) I am devastated to hear he has passed away and disappointed in myself for not staying connected. Bill and I were always close through high school and even in the early years of college. We even worked together as bartenders at JJ Muggs in 1984 while attending AC.
Bill will hold a special place in my heart and in my prayers.
