Janice Merlene Buchholz passed away in her home in Caldwell, Idaho from natural causes on Sunday, August 27th 2017 . Janice was born in Pocatello, Idaho on June 10, 1947 to Myrl and Phyllis Robinson. She had the honor of sharing her birthday with her Dad, Myrl. She was the oldest of 6 siblings, Brent, Shirley, Steve, Donna and Blaine. She graduated from High School then attended Beauty School. She is survived by her husband, Richard “Buck” Buchholz. They married on August 2, 1967, just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. She is also survived by her 4 daughters, Kimberly “Kimi Dawn” Richelle “Rici”, Tracy and Amy, also 9 grandchildren – Tyler, Kasey, Shoni, Tad, Kortney, Kelsey,Justin, Kallie, and Brody. She had 9 Great- Grandchildren- Maddi, Annabella, Jack, Izabella, Kaiden, Mason, Braxton, Paislee, Ava. Janice enjoyed camping , 4 wheeling and fishing with Buck. She enjoyed spending time with her family and Loved BSU football and Utah Jazz Basketball! She loved the outdoors and working in her yard and it showed by all of her beautiful purple flowers. One of her favorite past times lately was being on her lap top, playing “Words with Friends” with her little “Baxter Boy” by her side. If you ever wanted the blunt truth, she was the one to ask. She was a fire-cracker with a genuine heart. As she once told her Grand- daughter Kelsey, butterflies and Lady bugs are messages from heaven. She was a true believer in Guardian Angels, so we all know now that we will have a Guardian Angel of our own. And as she would’ve said… Goodbye Irene. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
