Ronald Gehring - Class Of 1965

Ronald Lee Gehring, 55, of American Falls, died late Friday, Feb. 28, 2003 at Harms Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

He was born July 16, 1947 in American Falls to Jacob and Christina (Ruff) Gehring.
 
He was a graduate of American Falls High School, Class of 1965.
 
He married Barbara Bryant March 4, 1966. He served his country for nine years in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran.
 
He is preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Jacob (infant) and Rueben.
 
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Hope (Brent) Robinson and Charity (Jim) French, both of Pocatello; one son, Gary (Jennifer) Gehring, U.S. Air Force, Germany; two grandchildren, Tad French and Valeria Robinson of Pocatello; three sisters, Gertrude (Jay) Hulet of Murphy, ID, Elfrieda (Harold) Chaffin of Pocatello, Delores Daniels of American Falls; and one brother, Kenneth (Nancy) of Clearfield, UT.
 
He was cremated and his ashes will be interred with a short graveside service at Fallsview Cemetery on Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m.
