The following was taken from the September 3, 1964 Power County Press.

A one car accident on Interstate Highway 15 about two miles east of American Falls early last Saturday morning claimed the life of 18 year old Arlo H. Moss of American Falls.

Arlo was born July 17, 1946, in Shelley, Idaho, a son of Ruel and Lois Thompson Moss. He attended schools in Goshen, Arco, Aberdeen, Rupert, Craigmont and for the past three years in American Falls, graduating from American Falls High School with the class of 1964.

Arlo was a priest in the LDS church and president of his seminary class. He was always interested in athletics and music, but due to a hand and arm injury while living in Craigmont, he was no longer able to play the piano or be active in sports.

Arlo was survived by his parents, one brother Elder Glen Moss who was attending Brigham Young University preparing for an LDS mission to South Brazil; two sisters, Mary Ann and Shirley Vilate at home; grandparents, Lillie B. Thompson, Logan, Utah and Janie Moss, Driggs, Idaho.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, September 1 at 12:30 from the LDS chapel in American Falls, with Bishop Lynford Murri officiating. Burial was in the Clarkston cemetery, Clarkston, Utah.
