JoAnn Rose Bauer, 77, of Idaho Falls, went into her Heavenly Father’s arms on Saturday, December 23, 2023. JoAnn passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home.

JoAnn was born May 4, 1946, to Emil and Martha Bauer and was the youngest of three children. With the help of her parents, she became a devoted mother to her daughter, Debbie Watters, which continued throughout Debbie’s life

Debbie provided JoAnn with four grandchildren which she adored and spent time with her on days off. JoAnn worked incredibly hard to achieve her goals and dreams. She was able to build her dream home, designing it from the ground up.

In her retirement, she was finally able to spend more dedicated time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and close friends. In her later years she loved going on scenic drives with loved ones and appreciated the beauty in the world around her.

JoAnn was compassionate and loving, helping others however she could. She was very devoted, sharing her faith with those around her. She was known for sending daily devotionals to those close to her.

JoAnn joins many loved ones in Heaven, including her parents, Emil and Martha Bauer, siblings Larry Bauer and Donna Ala, daughter Debbie Watters, and many more.

She is survived by her grandchildren, including their spouses, Joey and Alisha Rodriguez, Matthew and Jennifer Watters, Logan and Brandy Furniss, Kristopher Watters and Moony, and eight great-grandchildren.

JoAnn will be forever missed by her family and friends.

The viewing will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 29th at St. John’s Lutheran Church, located at 656 Tyree Ave in American Falls. The funeral service will follow at 11:30am.
