Agapito Ytuarte - Class Of 1963

AMERICAN FALLS - Agapito "Pete" Ytuarte Jr., 62, of American Falls, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at the home of his daughter in Pocatello, Idaho. Pete was born January 1, 1945, at American Falls, Idaho, the son of Agapito Ytuarte Sr., and Irene Mildred Aguirre Ytuarte. Pete was the oldest of two children. He was raised and educated in American Falls, Idaho, graduating from American Falls High School in 1963. Growing up, Pete worked on his father's farm and herded sheep. He worked for Lamb-Weston, now Conagra, for 40 years. He married Diane Greaterex. They were later divorced. He then married Kay Hall. They had one son, Martin. They were later divorced. He then married Sandy Misner. They had two children, a daughter, Trisha, and a son, Cory. They were later divorced. Pete was an avid fisherman and hunter. He spent much of his time taking old friends, and those about to become new friends, hunting and fishing throughout Idaho. He enjoyed steelhead fishing in Salmon, and spent as much time as he could there. He hunted each fall and was able to continue that tradition through his illness. Pete is survived by his mother, Irene, of American Falls, Idaho; a son, Martin (Tiffany) of American Falls, Idaho; a daughter, Trisha Ann and a son, Cory Jon, of Pocatello, Idaho; grandchildren, Miles, Michael, Tabatha, Beau, Salvador, Christy and his special little fisherman and hunter, Benjamin Agapito. He was also preceded in death by his father and his sister, Maria Ytuarte. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29 at Colonial Funeral Chapel, 2005 S. Fourth Ave., Pocatello. The viewing will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28 and on Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Fallsview Cemetery in American Falls, Idaho.
