Arthur Scott - Class Of 1963

 

Don Mingo September 1, 1944 - April 20, 1944. Don Mingo, 69, Pocatello, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from a battle with Cancer.  Don was born to Arthur Archibald Mingo and Neta "Toots" on September 1, 1944 in Pocatello, Idaho.  He grew up in Southern Idaho. He did farm work, Gas station, Parts house, and was employed for 43 years at J.R. Simplot Company.  He retired in 2006.  On September 5, 1962, Don married the love of his life, Etta Eileen Mingo in American Falls, Idaho.  To this union was born three amazing children: Arthur Don Mingo Jr., Casey (Kim) Mingo and their special little girl, Teresa.  

Don was an avid outdoorman, loved to hunt, fish, and just be out in nature.  He was an avid collector of a lot of things.  He enjoyed being with his family.

Surviving are his daughter, Teresa Deighton of Pocatello, Son Casey (Kim) Mingo of Aberdeen.  Grandchildren, Tiffany (Rick) Claus, Dustin Colling, Heather Colling, Kristie (Jake) Rowe, Brandon Mingo, Tristan (CJ) Richie, Kendhal Deighton, Zachary Deighton and Sara Deighton.  Four great-grandchildren, Taylor McCracken, Connor, Jessica, and Emmett Rowe.  A brother, Bernard Scott, and two sisters, Virginia Crockett and Betty Ganske.  He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen on June 2, 2005.  His Father, Arthur Archibald, Mom Neta "Toots" Frandsen, Step-father Scotty, Adopted mom Mollie Weaver, and his son Arthur Don Mingo.  Brothers, Al Mingo, Harry Mingo, Bob Mingo, Chuck Mingo, Dick Scott, Bradley Scott, Bob Ganske, Larry Ganske, and Donald Ganske. Sister Kathleen Kramer.
