Ruth Biggs (Roundy)

Ruth Biggs Roundy 1935 ~ 2006 Ruth Biggs Roundy, born March 27, 1935, died July 15, 2006 at her home in Provo, after a valiant struggle with cancer. Ruth was a generous and compassionate woman. She was a devoted and loyal wife, a gentle and loving mother, and a caring and nurturing grandmother and great-grand-mother. Those who knew her will remember her for her kindness and her Christ-like nature. Ruth's entire life was devoted to sharing the love of the Savior. Those who knew her will never forget the healing power that Ruth's kind words and acts of service have had. As a nurse, mother, and friend, Ruth's charity and influence will continue on in the lives of those who have known her. Ruth met her eternal sweetheart, Glen, at a youth dance and they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. They were separated in April when Glen passed away. She endured their separation well and has rejoiced that they have since been reunited. Together Ruth and Glen raised nine children. She treasured the richness and diversity that each child brought to the family. She worked hard to ensure that each of her children and grandchildren knew that she loved them. Ruth was pleased to serve with her beloved husband, Glen, in the Little Rock Arkansas Mission. She was a devoted missionary and left many treasured friends behind when they returned home. She is survived by her children: Kelly (Denise) Roundy, Brenda (Greg) Lanham, Beth (John) Jesse, Kim (Stanley) Cram, Nathan (Brenda) Roundy, Jeannette (Eric) Mackay, Mike (Christine) Roundy, Rebecca (David) Greenland, Christopher (Amanda) Roundy; 35 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, her sisters: Ruby Hansen, Inez Ferguson, Joan Eichler, and her brother, David Biggs.
