Timothy Allen Foley, died at the age of 30, in State Center, Iowa.  Foley, a self-employed carpenter, was born in Nevada to John and Rita (Fink) Foley.  He attended school in Color from 1968 to 1978.  In 1981 he graduated from Ames High School.  He served aboard the U.S.S. Pigeon  while he was in the U.S. Navy in San Diego, CA, from November 1985 to March 1987.  He was a member of Marshalltown ABATE and Marshalltown Men's Bowling Association.

He is survived by his parents, John and Rita Foley of Colo: two brothers, Kyle of El Paso, Texas, and Luke of Ames; a sister, Sheila Seitz of Lacey, Washington; his fiancee, Melissa Ewalt of State Center; and his maternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Fink and and his paternal grandmother, Alice Foley, all of Colo.  He is preceded in death by a sister.
