April 12, 1962 - February 28, 1981

Melody Juncker, 18, daughter of Edward and Eileen (Larson) Juncker, Ames, died Saturday, February 28th, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines as a result of injuries received in a car accident.

Melody Juncker was born April 12, 1962, in Iowa city.  She was a senior and honor student at Ames High School.  She was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church.  In June, she was to have been married to Jeff Kyle of Kelley.

Survivors include her parents; three brothers, Larry and Bob, both of Ames, and Ed Jr., at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ove Juncker, Lincoln, Nebraska, and Alice Larson, Ames; a great-grandfather, Melvin Boyd, Ames; and two nieces.

A chair was left empty in honor of Melody during her Ames High School graduation.
