Bob was a great roommate and friend. In freshman year we were in Plymouth House and later in Wheeler. We painted our Wheeler room a bright pink and named it "The Womb". We cranked the stereo so the whole floor could rock out to The Stones: "Off the Hook". Bob was a great athlete: Captain of the tennis team and an intramural wrestling champion. The 4th Floor Wheeler Trojans beat Kappa Sig to win the campus flag footbalI championship. I had visited his family in Lowell and was saddened when a few years after graduation his mother told me he had committed suicide following his divorce.
