Mark E. Gentry of Eggertsville, plant engineer for the University at Buffalo Research Institute on Addictions on Main Street, died Tuesday Nov 6, 2007 in Sisters Hospital after a battle with cancer. He was 54.
Born in Albany, Mr. Gentry moved to the Buffalo area with his family as a child. After graduating from Sweet Home High School in 1971, he became a maintenance worker at the UB Research Institute and worked there for 35 years, advancing to the head of maintenance operations.
