Note from his wife, Linda, to Bruce Bird: 

I wanted to let you know that Keith passed away this past Saturday, April 15, 2017, in the early morning. I had just moved him from the nursing home last Monday to Hospice House--a lovely, peaceful facility--he even had a sliding glass door out to a patio overlooking a garden with bird feeders. I fortunately saw him last Friday afternoon--at that time they had him on oxygen to keep him comfortable--he was awake but non-communicative -- I'm not sure he knew I was there. He is being cremated, no service. I hope to take his ashes back to Buffalo later this year to scatter. Linda
