Bobby's Memorial Luncheon went very well and thank you to all who were able to make it. Also thank you to those who donated food and money. We will miss Bobby.
I am saddened by the loss of another classmate. He was so young to have left this world. Bobby was a Great Guy! I have alot of fond memories of Bob when we were young kids. I will always remember Bob having a smile on his face. Bob was always laughing. At the 30th Reunion we laughed about our younger days. Bob always had a funny story to tell. He was a pleasure to be around. Though I do not get home very often, I always enjoyed to running into Bob. I will miss him.
It was great seeing Bobby after all these years. He came over to Marykays to help with the class reunion and we all had a lot of laughs with him. Memories I have after we graduated... we would get together now and again and ride his bike. He always said he didn't want to be afraid to get back on after his accident so he got back on and rode. Had a blast. Thanks Bobby for always making me wear a helmet. God Bless You and Keep You Safe Karen Leoni Bray
I NEVER KNEW BOBBY ALL THAT WELL, BUT I REMEMBER SEEING HIM LAUGHING AND KIDDING AROUND WITH PEOPLE. HE SEEMED LIKE HE HAD A GOOD HEART AND WAS LAID BACK, LIKE WHATEVER HAPPENED, HE'D JUST DEAL WITH IT. THIS IS JUST MY OBSERVATION OF HIM IN SCHOOL AND AT OTHER SCHOOL GATHERINGS. I'M SORRY THAT I DIDN'T GET TO KNOW HIM BETTER.
TO HIS FAMILY, I HOPE THAT THE LORD GIVES YOU STRENGTH TO GET THROUGH THIS AND THAT THE LORD WILL GRANT YOU SOME SENSE OF PEACE. I AM TRULY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
My prayers and thoughts go out to his family in this time of mourning!!! - Moby "AKA Bobby" was a close friend of mine in my younger years when I lived in Amherst. We palled around alot when we were growing up as he lived on the next street over from me. We had great times together as he was a happy man who always enjoyed life to the fullest. - Sincerely
Where do you start to remember such a good guy. I will always remember "that laugh" & his special smile. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family & friends at such a difficult time. We have definitely lost another great classmate but will always have the memories as a bunch of happy go lucky young kids in Amherst enjoying the Class of 1978. With Deepest Sympathy, Amy Jaynes-Brown
I just read the posting on Bob Sobolak and I just wanted to extend my sympathies to Lynn and their family. Bob was always kind and made me laugh. If there is an address we can send a card to, can you post it for us?
Moby is one guy I will truly miss. We had great times in our younger years, and always had a smile when we ran into each other. He made me laugh. My heart felt condolences to the Sobolak family.
