Ah, Mr. Prichard...one of my favorite English teachers, ever. I loved literature analysis and discussing what the author was trying to convey with certain word choices, settings, foreshadowing, etc. He also used to laugh at me because he then would catch me reading some fluff like a trashy Harlequin romance novel instead of serious stuff. He took a real interest in his students and although he could be a bit curmudgeonly at times, he also had a great big, hearty laugh that was contagious, and tried to make his classes fun. I'm sorry he passed on at a young age.
