Unfortunately, Randy Steele passed away during High School. As I recall, he was killed in an auto accident.

As I recall, he had some kind of medical event and crashed into the levee along Santa Ana Canyon Road between CHS and Vista Del Rio. Mark Wolfelt??? would know more as they were close.
