Roberto G Bourbon

Roberto G. Bourbon (1951-2012)

Roberto G. Bourbon, age 61, a resident of Ft. Scott, died early Friday, Novermber 30, 2012, at his home.  He was born January 26, 1951, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, the son of Luis G. Bourbon and Maria Mercedes Feliciano Bourbon.  He married Carmen Aran on December 16, 1978.  The family moved from Puerto Rico to Alaska in the 1980's where Roberto worked as an instrument and control technician for the Alaskan Pipeline.  They later moved to Lincoln, Nebraska and then to Ft. Scott in 2007.

Survivors include his wife, Carmen, of the home; two sons, Roberto G Bourbon, Jr. and wife, Amy of Kansas City, Kansas annd Eleazar G. Bourbon, of Ft. Scott, and a grandson, Isaiah G. Bourbon.  Also surviving is a brother, Luis Jesus Bourbon, of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

There was a cremation.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 8th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.  Burial will take place at a later date in Puerto Rico.  Services are under the direction of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S.
