Debra Jean Altizer (Curtsinger)

Audrey Jeanne Levy, 53, of Chesapeake, Virginia, passed away at home with her family around her on July 18, 2004. 

 

Audrey bravely battled pancreatic cancer for two years before peacefully succumbing during an afternoon nap. 

 

Born in Annapolis, Maryland, she was the daughter of Norma Jeanne Green of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, and the late Edward Earl Green. She graduated with honors from the Annapolis Senior High School in 1969 where she was a member of the National Honor Society. 

 

Following her high school graduation she worked at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, where she met her soon-to-be-husband. Besides her Mother, Audrey is survived by her loving husband of thirty-one years, Captain Richard M. Levy U.S.N., retired and her two sons Eric Wade Levy and Matthew Scott Levy. Her sister Patricia Ann Green of Orange County, California, and her brother Dr. Charles Edward Green and wife Linda of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, also survive her. 

 

Services were presided over by Reverend Jack Minnick which were held Wednesday, July 21,2004 at the Oman Funeral Home & Chapel in Chesapeake, Virginia. Her interment in Arlington National Cemetery was on 17 August 2004.

A truely lovely person with a kind heart and good friend.  She made the world a better place.  Miss you Lady!
