Leroy Robert Brown Jr., 65, of Arnold, MD died on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Georgetown University Hospital due to complication from a stroke. Leroy was born on September 11, 1951 to the late Marie and Leroy Brown Sr. He grew up in Annapolis, MD where he attend Anne Arundel County public schools. After graduating from Annapolis Senior High School, he joined the United States Marine Corps and worked at Andrew Air Force Based until he retired in 2011. Leroy enjoyed fishing, hunting, photography and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoyed watching his favorite football team the Washington Redskins. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Cynthia Brown. He is survived by his daughters Courtney Chase of Annapolis and Casey Djangali of Crofton; 7 grandchildren Alaina Brown, Jailen Reed, Andre Brown, Cynthia Chase, Devin Chase, Mason Djangali and Carmen Djangali; two sisters Vera Kelly and Marilynn Meyers; 3 godchildren Derrick, Adrian and Satia Chew and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, February 24 at Mt. Olive Community Life Center, 2 Hicks Ave, Annapolis, MD 21401.
