You can make light all you want but it's tragic that unregulated credit default swaps and sub-prime mortgage proliferation with the subsequent collapse of the commercial paper market led to the eventual unemployment of our greatest american hero. Even truth, justice and the American way can fall prey to market pressures. Criminy! It has gotten so bad we are outsourcing our superheroes? Where does it end? Will the Hall of Justice relocate to an abandoned maquiladora? Will the Flash sell taquitos on la mariscal? Can we expect Wonder Woman to sell chiclets on the bridge? I shudder to think of our future!
