I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of your passing. It's a tragedy when a life is cut short for such a needless reason. My heart goes out to your family, especially your children. I will always think of you on "our" birthday, April 21st. You were such a funny guy. You will be missed.
I remember picking up trash after school for detention and having a great time with Aaron. We always had fun together. I just can't grasp the fact that he is truly gone forever. There will never be another Aaron and the reunion will be bittersweet.
Aaron was my square dancing partner in P.E. in Junior high and we had so much fun. It was hard to dance when we were both laughing so hard. You were a true cowboy and will be missed so very much!
I will always hold dear and to my heart the many, many, many, good times Aaron and I shared together. I considered him my brother and my parents considered him a son. Sometimes we weren't the model children to them, but he always put a smile on my late Mother's face and on that of my Fathers. Although time would come between us at times, we'd always pick up where we left off with no love lost between us. I will miss him. Until we meet again my brother..Rest in Peace. Late.

Ay, Aaron...as I type this there are tears going down my face. Oddly enough, I miss you. I say oddly, because we didn't really hang out a lot, but when we did, I enjoyed your company tremendously. I saw you a month ago and feel that I should have said more than I did or made more of an effort to maybe try to spend some time with you cuz there was something missing in you. I'm sorry I didn't, my friend. You always did and I know you continue to have a sweet, sweet, soul. Your eyes said it all. They carried a love that you would have to be a fool not to see. I believe you are in a place where there is no pain, no heartache, no anguish...no demons. You are in a place where you are perpetually in God's loving care and where you can feel His presence always and never feel lonely or alone. Goodbye, Aaron. I can't wait to see you at our reunion much later...in heaven. I love you.
