Survived by wife Cassandra 'Sandy'; daughter Rebecca 'Becky'; parents: John and Harriet Kaufman; sisters Elizabeth 'Betsy' (Mike) Rud, Susan (Rick) Meemken; and many nieces, nephews; relatives and friends. Funeral service 10AM Friday at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation 5-8PM Thursday at CATURIA-SMIDT FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. 7th St., Hastings, and at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorials preferred.
