Dale Carl Leidner

Leidner, Dale Carl, age 55, of Rosemount, passed away peaceably at his home surrounded by his family on September 17, 2015. Dale was born on September 23, 1959 in Farmington MN. Graduated from Rosemount High School, and has lived in Rosemount ever since. Dale started his 33 year career in 1982 as an Alarm Tech for Safe-Way Alarms working for his Uncle Ronnie Gustafson. Worked his way up to Project Manager- General Foreman, for Total Fire Alarm & Security. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl G. Leidner; his sister, Deanna Lynn Darling; his sister in law, Julie Leidner. Survived by his loving wife & soul mate Ellen, of 33 years; daughter, Melissa (Daniel) Miller; son, Austin; daughter, Maria (Richard) Miller; precious grandchildren, Damon Daniel and Clara Ellen; mother, Marlene Leidner; brother, Don (fiancee Pam Johnson); sister, Debra (Robert) Hilmoe; nieces & nephews; many other relatives & friends. Dale was a very stoic man. His wife and children were everything to him and loved spending time with them, always putting their wants and needs before his own. He loved his snowmobile and ATV trips with whomever wanted to come along for the ride. Livin’ the Dream! Funeral service 11 am Wednesday (9/23/15) at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley with visitation Tuesday 4-8 pm at the White Funeral Home,14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley (952-432-2001) and 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment Rosemount Cemetery.
