David J. Billings, 51, of Chaska, Minn., passed away peacefully on Nov. 30, 2011.

David is preceded in death by his stepfather, Murphy Christenson; and his grandparents. He is survived by his daughter, Brittany Billings (Alex Petrikov); his mother, Susan Christenson; his father, John (Greta) Billings; sister, Becky (Gary) Braun; brother, Bob (Penny) Billings; three nieces; significant other, Krissy Odegard; Brittany's mother, Pam Billings; and friends. 

David was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf. He also enjoyed his 15 years in Texas where he earned his fire sprinkler credentials from Penn State and made many life-long friends. 

David's memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, in the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th and Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, Minn., phone 952-432-2331; with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service in the mortuary. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
