Wow, Leonard and I were pretty good friends, which dissolved at high school graduation. I never knew he also was a Marine and succumbed in Vietnam.Leonard was a real real gutsy character in high school. And had this incredibly funny sense of humor. Like me, he wasn't that much into school per se, but rather just liked to have a good time. I always enjoyed his friendship and he was actually a very nice guy.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised because Vietnam was going on, but I still am, and saddened by another chum's loss. I am sorry it took me this long to find out.

Semper Fi, Leonard

Note from James Nabozny:

Lenny Lodding died in a bad way. Two really rough tours in VietNam and came home to Cailfornia decorated and crashed his new motorcycle. Never knew what hit him. Lenny was a great warrior. Served well. Great guy and friend. I was in Viet Nam when he died.
