Craig Aleck was born the son of Herbert and Virginia Watkins. Craig graduated in 1975 from Forest View High School, Arlington Heights, Ill. and moved to Springfield, MO in 1983. He worked for the family business, L & W Industries, Inc., for 27 years and was the proprietor and operator of Cully's Pub, the Outland Complex and Renegades for many years. He was one of the founders of the downtown "pub crawls". His passion was being a musician and song writer. He performed with Diamond Jym and the Untouchables. Craig was an accomplished water skier, snow skier and gymnast. He was in his element when he was enjoying the out of doors. Survivor's include his companion of many years, Amy Anderson; his two sons, Aleck Watkins and Colin Watkins; his parents, Herbert and Virginia Watkins; siblings, Richard Watkins, Robert and Doris Watkins; Rollo and Jacqueline Watkins; Joyce and Garrett Rowley; Christine Watkins and Roger Van Hoozer; and fourteen nieces and nephews.
