Gary Kane died at the age of 14 on October 12, 1971 while trying to install a ham radio antenna. Prior to the installation, Gary lost control of the radio antenna he was holding as it hit a high-voltage power line. As a result, he was electrocuted and pronounced dead on his way to the hospital. He has been deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all that knew him.

Gary was to be my locker partner (it was alphabetical) freshman year when I read article this in the paper. I hardly knew him and it tugged at my heart that whole year. I found this going through my yearbook from freshman year. Rest in Peace Gary and know you are remembered.
