Carolyn graduated High School with the utmost energy and determination to be a teacher. Shortly after high school she was diagnosed with cancer in her knee at the sight of an old karate injury. The cancer was removed and she went through chemotherapy. Several years after the cancer had seemed to have gone away it came back in 1996 and she passed away in 1997 from complications. She is remembered for her kind heart and love for children. She attended college and also graduated cosmetology at Sam Houston. (She turned my hair yellow once on accident!) She was fun loving and had a carefree spirit. She kept my life from being boring in High School. She was married to Dominic Barnes. They settled in Billings Montana were she was laid to rest.
