Me and Ricky were good friends from 1st grade to the 12th grade. I remember playing Star Trak (I think that is what we called it) on the play ground at Thorton Elementary tucking our jeans into our socks, using sticks for guns and running around like crazy....I could never catch Ricky he was fast.I am sorry to hear Ricky has passed.
God bless....

Ricky and I used to play hacky sack all summer. We had Six Flags summer passes and would con my mom into dropping us off on her way to work. This was about 3 hours before they opened and we would just hang out waiting till they opened kicking around that little sack. In the 8th grade Ricky and I both had really stylish hair with tails. He told me if I kept the tail wet it would grow faster and I belived him. In between classes I would go to the restroom and wet my hair, somehow I thought it was actually growing faster.God Bless You Ricky! Your Missed!

Its funny the paths we choose, I remember Ricky very well and at the time of his death I was a police officer in a small town outside of Dallas and attended his funeral. Later on in my career I moved on to a larger department, where I eventually became a Sergeant overseeing the Motorcycle Unit and riding every day. I think about Ricky all the time, and understand now what his family and friends went through on that tragic day. On 07/07/07 I sat on the ground comforting a friend and a co-worker of mine as he passed away due to a crash on his police motorcycle.Hey Lee, kinda of ironic how one of my best friends from HS choose to post on 07/07/09 on this very subject. Hope to see ya at the reunion buddy.

I want to express my thanks to those of you that have taken time to say something about my Ricky. A mother loves to hear other individuals reflect on their loved ones life and how it touched others.I know you will have a successful and memorable reunion this year.
I want to especially thank Kyle Boyce and Angie Guess for their completion of this important part of your website. Unfortunately, the memorial page is one that classmates don't like to view, but it is a nice tribute to those that are not able to attend except in our hearts and our special memories that we hold dear.
On behalf of Rick's immediate family, Nicole and his daughter, Brittnee, myself and Fil, Michael and Kristina we thank you and May God Bless you all.
