David Barrineau Bond
February 5, 1952 ~ October 2, 2018 (age 66)

On Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018, David Barrineau Bond, passed away with his family by his side at his Lake Lure residence following a courageous battle with cancer.  David was born on February 5th, 1952 in Bat Cave, North Carolina to the late George and Marjorie Bond.
His passion for the great outdoors could be seen in his favorite hobbies of golf, hiking, and gardening. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, his story-telling ability, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

David is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Edith; daughter, Brittany and her husband Christian of Marshall, NC; daughter, Anna Leigh and her husband Arnoldo of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Liliana, Violet, and Isabella; two sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In accordance with David’s wishes, a Celebration of Life party was held before he passed away; therefore, there will not be a memorial service.
