I do not know exactly how she ended up in Texas.

She changed occupations a lot, but mostly it was secreterial. Her last job, before she retired was a guard at a jail. She was retired and helping with her grandkids.

She went in for surgery and due to complications she did not leave thr hospital. She cared about helping everyone else and gave everything to her kids.
