Robert Edgar Hagel

Robert Edgar Hagel, age 68, passed away on December 4, 2020 at his home in Manassas, Virginia.

He was born on December 13, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Robert Louis and Frances Jane (Steeb) Hagel.

Bob began his career in his teens building homes with his father and friends. He included his sons when they were in their teens. Later he expanded to include land development and consulting.

He enjoyed times with family and friends at Deep Creek Lake and Marco Island, golf trips to Myrtle Beach with the guys, fishing, horseshoes, cornhole and water volleyball with anyone willing to challenge him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Marianne Hagel; two children: Robert Bradford Hagel and wife Victoria Anne, and James Todd Hagel and wife Lauren Leigh; five grandchildren: Mason, Devyn, Erin, Deacon and Torin; one sister: Maureen McDaniel Page and husband Gary; two nieces: Marni McDaniel Pollard and Tamara Berthel and one nephew: Pete McDaniel, one great-nephew: Dylan Pollard.

A Celebration of Life for Bob will be determined at a later date.
