Rick Southers: Patricia and I go way back to our Arcola grade school days, 3rd grade and on. There were a few of us in close proximity to or in Arcola...Patricia, Rudy Walker, Tommy Pearson, Scotty Baltzer, Danny Deal, to name a few and of course Tommy Meadows.
This tragedy came to my attention through my family while I was away in school for the USAF. I find it hard to believe to this day. Pat was a long time friend.
