"Good Baseball Times"

We had so many amazingly funny times in the Merrimon's baseball years! Those of you who either played or watched us WIN all of the time, know what I am talking about. Early in our Merrimon baseball careers, with Michelle Atkins father as our coach, we would often go on away games and while driving down the road or on the highway leave the sliding door to the mini van open for kicks & giggles. Our coach would always ask (while doing 50MPH) "is there a breeze in here?" LOL It was a good time! I mooned a group of girl church goers to, I still feel remorse about that!

Another one Ted will specifically remember along with the rest of the team, we were sitting down in the doug out at an away game (I think?) and I was really MAD (imagine that? We had just lost the game, I was a moody teenager, coach was upset, the team was upset, just everything was just WRONG at that moment. Coach comes in starts getting on us about our "play ethic" and we need to do better, and I was boiling at this point (I hardly ever got mad back then...) So I stood up and said some choice words, and also some things I shouldnt towards coach, and Ted Warner stands up while the coach is chewing me out specifically, and Ted says "well I agree with Jared". Now then, it was no laughing matter then, because emotions were high, not so good choice were being made, and more, but now it is funny to those involved in the experience.

ha I remember that. It was that little guy who was our coach then...

Do you remember when I hit that big, Korean kid from Christ School right in the face with a fastball?
