Everybody loved Mark. I can also remember the burning of the tires in Mickey D's parking lot and can just remember that we'd know he was getting ready to pull in even before we saw him because you could hear that Camaro....Before we even caught sight of him we'd all go "here comes Mason"! A wonderful person. You could talk to him about - well, just about anything. :-)
Still think about him often.

I was always so jealous that Mark lived right across the street from Hager. (Gary and Larry also) "Gentle giant " is a perfect name. Mark would be proud knowing his Alice Cooper prank is a memory for so many.

Mark was one of my best friends! I loved him like a brother and will always miss him. He, Gene and I had so many good times. I still have his 38 Special cassette tape from back in the days. Mark was a loyal friend to the end!

I first met Mark in classes together at Putnam. Remember one time he and some others snowballed my mom's Plymouth Roadrunner on Blackburn. She stopped & tried to catch them... embarrassed me to pieces, but Mark just laughed about it when we talked about it at school. RIP Mark.

I would'nt know where to start. Mark was a brother and a friend. We had so many great times together it would be hard to single one out. My memories of Mark will always be with me. So many lives were touch by him and each in a different way. I still remember that night at the hospital standing with his dad and mom and brother after they had told us of his passing and seeing all of his friends standing in the ER and the hallways and into the parking lot. So many people. I still make trips to the cemetary in Sandy hook and each time I arrive I still get that empty feeling. Mark you will always be missed.

Mark, Joe King, Gene-o and myself having fishing tournaments on the boat dock at the cabin. I bet the trees on the banks of the Little Sandy are still decorated with Mark's bobbers like ornaments on Christmas trees, from all the "tree bass" he caught. I think we caught more buzz than fish but man we always had fun...

I can't remember my highschool days without remembering Mark. He was my dear friend. I remember the Mustang Mach II he had before the Z28. He never lived his life low key. I do miss him.

Mark was my kinda guy. A practical joker who always looked innocent of the things he'd pull. After he'd pull a prank, his face would look like "Who me?" Then he'd smile a crooked smile and wink at those in on it. At Putnam we had Spanish class together with Senor Creech. Mark brought a firecracker to class with an extra long fuse he's fashioned to it. He posted me as look out at the door to give him the signal when Creech was coming down the hall and almost at the door. I gave the signal and ran to my chair as Mark lit the fuse and dropped it in the garbage can next to Senor Creech's desk. When Creech sat down and called attention his nose twitched a little and in the middle of asking "What's that sm.....POP! ...ell?"  Senor Creech nearly turned over backward in his chair but banged into the blackboard instead. He turned about three shades of red and furrowed his brow. Slamming his fist into the desk he demanded to know who had done that? The whle class looked guilty, we couldn't stop laughing. All but Mark. He sat there without as much as a grin looking angelic. About that time we noticed the garbage can was now on fire. Mark jumped to his feet and said "I got it"! He picked up the can and ran to the window, dumping the contents out of the third floor. It drifted down slowly to the bushes below still flaming. We heard in a low voice "Uh oh". Everyone then ran to the window to see what "uh oh" meant. Senor Creech had lost all control and was still ranting in the background. I don't know who all went but several of us raced down the stairs to try and put out the fire but by the time we got out front it had pretty much extinguished itself. I don't know to this day how we intended to put it out, we didn't have anything to put it out with. Mark may have had a life taken too quickly but he lived it to it's fullest and beyond. Miss ya Mark!
