Mike was such a great person. My favorite memory of Mike is 9th grade math with Ms. Ross. Mike sat in front of me and David Arthur sat behind me. Mike loved to lean back in his chair on two legs, so I would put my feet against the back of his chair giving it resistance. Once I had Mike pushing back pretty hard I would remove my feet, sending him toppling backwards. I never did get him to fall over but I came close a few times.

Now this was all happening while David sat behind me pulling out my hair, a single hair at a time. Eventually we were separated to three different corners of the room.

Gosh, it’s a wonder we all even graduated.

Mike you were a good friend and you are much missed.

I was floored when I seen that Mike had passed.Mike had stayed with me in Lexington when there was a concert in town.We went to see Bob Segar,The Who,and Molly Hatchet.
Mike had a 73 mach1 and I had a 73 challenger we raced often. One time I had come back home for christmas, and I had a girl with me that I had been dating for a couple months.I was driving down route 60 and came up on Mike and as soon as I got beside his car we both started to slow down and stop. Then took off as fast as we could,my girlfriend freaked. She was asking do you know him?I wouldn't tell her until after we slowed down and started to talk to Mike.He could tell she was upset. We had a good laugh about it.
Mike was a good friend someone you could count on.

Yes, Jill, I remember classes with Mike at Putnam where we first met in 7th grade. He was always friendly, a guy with a good sense of humor. I later chaperoned Mikes daughter on the patrol trip to Washington. Was sad to hear of his passing at such an early age.
