Leigh Ann Baker, 63, of Russell, passed away Friday evening May 17, 2024 at her residence. Leigh Ann was born April 14, 1961 in Ashland to the late Richard L. “Dick” Parker and Jo Ann Lunsford Parker. Leigh Ann was a retired elementary school teacher with the Ashland School systems. She formerly attended the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Ashland. Surviving Leigh Ann is her husband Doug Barker and their daughter who was the light and joy of her life, Whitney Barker. Also surviving in addition to her husband and daughter is her two brothers, Mark A. Parker of Jackson, OH., Richard L. Parker II of New Mexico, and her sister, Darlene Riley (Clarence) of Ashland.
 

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Miller Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial will follow funeral services in Baker Burchett Cemetery in Olive Hill. Online condolences may be offered at www.mfhfuneralhome.com.
