Donald Joe Rose Jr., 62, of Ashland, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, March 16, 2023, in Community Hospice Care Center. Don was born December 13, 1960, in Jacksonville, NC, to the late Donald Joe Sr. and Audrey Atchison Rose. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Rose, in 2020. Don enjoyed fishing and was a carpenter. Surviving Don is one brother, James Rose (Hannah) of Oklahoma City, two sisters, Victoria Moore (Terry) of Ft. Campbell, Tn., Terri Franklin of Ashland, and a sister-in-law, Susan Rose of Louisville. Graveside services for Don will be held at Noon Saturday, March 18th, at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens, with Chaplain Jimm Smedley Officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland. Online condolences may be offered at www.mfhfuneralhome.com.
