Danny Joe died from a brain aneurysm on August 18th, 1974, the summer between 7th & 8th grades, at the age of 14. He went to Condit and Putnam, and was in our class. Danny was a very quiet, gentle and kind person, sadly missed by all our family. (Susan Strother Ramey)
eddie remembers grade school and one of his best buddies. very kind and friendly person like he knew life was going to be short\. lived every day to his fullest. had a great time together, missed a lot
I knew Danny and we were always friends. His cousin Ted Sparks was a really good friend and I later worked with Rocky Kouns, another cousin. However, Danny and I had a falling out at Putnam one day and it ended up in us meeting for a fight after school. After it was over we were pretty much over our dispute. That was only days before I heard he died while lifting weights at Ted's house. I never told anyone but I felt like I was somehow responsible. All these years later, as an adult, I know better but I lived for years with guilt over Danny's death and wished I could have let him know I was sorry we'd had our falling out.
DANNY AND I RAN TOGETHER YOU YEARS.WE REALY HAD SOME GREAT TIMES....TO ME HE ALWAY HAVE A PLACE IN MY HEART..FOR.EVERY AND ALWAYS DANNY STILL MISS YOU TO THIS DAY....
We went to Condit together, remember making marble and hotwheel tracks in the dirt beside the south side of the building. Seems strange now that I think back on it that Danny and Randy Evans are both gone, we sure played together a lot when we were kids. Also remember catching grasshoppers in the field next to the school, and sledding in the cementary. He was a great guy. I seem to remember he was bench pressing when he passed. What a loss.
