Robert Stephen 'Steve' Fannin
1962 - 2021
Robert Stephen Fannin (Steve), 58, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at UK Medical Center on June 29th, 2021. Steve, born and raised in Ashland, KY, was a former Tomcat who graduated in 1980. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Fannin and mother, Peggy McGranahan Fannin, as well as his sister, Julie Martin, and Mother-in-Law, Doris Horton. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Nancy Horton Fannin, along with his 3 daughters, Sara Everman (Isaiah), Amanda Cherry (John), Ally Flannery (Tyler), and cherished grandsons, Xander and Ryder Everman. Along with his surviving sisters, Yvonne Ward and Connie Fannin, Father-in-Law, Michael Horton Sr, plus many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. His favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a long time Tomcat, Reds and UK Wildcat fan. He worked for Davey Tree Expert Company for 28 years.
Steve had a strong faith and a close relationship with The Lord, bringing much peace to his friends and family that we will see him again. Visitation and memorial service will be at PRESTON FAMILY FUNERAL HME on Route 5 on July 2nd, 2021 from 5-7pm, memorial service to follow.
