To those of us who knew John beyond Prometheus, he and his family opened up their home and their hearts to students in a way that I never experienced with another teacher. I was saddened to hear of Stacey's passing, she was a great friend and classmate.
I am happy that John had a such a long and full life, he certainly deserved it. He guided a student that other teachers found troublesome towards some of the most positive parts of my life.
