Diana Boyd (Eades)

Following was the obituary for Diana Boyd Eades from the Daily Post Athenian.

Dr. Diana Boyd Eades, 46, of Ringgold, Ga., died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at her residence. A resident of North Georgia and Chattanooga areas since 1983, she was a graduate of McMinn County High School, U.T. Knoxville and East Tennessee State University College of Medicine. She served her internship and residency in internal medicine at Erlanger Medical Center and had worked in emergency rooms at Athens Community Hospital, Hutcheson Medical Center, Erlanger Medical Center and Erlanger Quick Care. She was the owner and operator of Occupational Health Resources and was the Medical Director of the Optifast Program at Erlanger Medical Center. She was a member of Brainerd Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her mother, Glaphrey Boyd. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Eades; one daughter, Taylor Eades of Ringgold, Ga.; and her father, L.R. Boyd of Athens. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Minister Danny Burleson officiating. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Pond Hill Cemetery in Athens. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Heritage Funeral Home in Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
