Ann L'Hommedieu (Graham)

Ann was born on February 16, 1945, in St. Helena California, to the late James H. and Gail Anne L'Hommedieu. Ann graduated from Menlo-Atherton in 1962 where she was active in the M-A Girls Association, the Girl’s Coordinating Committee, Social Board and Spanish Club. Ann attended the Class of ’62 fifty-year reunion in 2012.

Ann married Michael Graham on February 14, 1979. They lived in Phoenix, AZ, Reno, NV, and Henderson, NV. After Michael's passing Ann moved to Graeagle, CA, a lovely town in the Sierras which she loved and where she was loved and appreciated. Ann passed away May 26, 2014, age 69 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City Nevada.

Ann earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in French from the University of Arizona in 1966 and was a proud member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. Ann went on to work as a French translator, magazine editor, various administration roles, and most proudly a wonderful mother, wife, sister and member of an incredible family.

Ann enjoyed gardening, hiking, bird watching, traveling, watching mystery shows, knitting, reading, and was a life long student of Edgar Cayce. She helped to start the Unity Church of Green Valley in Henderson, Nevada as well as speaking regularly at the Sunday services. Ann started several book clubs as well as volunteered at the Mohawk Community Resource Center, and also led a bereavement group in Graeagle.

Ann is survived by her sons James and wife Brooke Graham, Matthew Graham, as well as her sisters Joan McKee, Gaie L'Hommedieu, and her niece Adriana and husband Ryan Abbe. Ann's kind and gentle soul will be greatly missed.
