Carol Moseley (Ames)

Rev. Carol Moseley Ames graduated with honors from Stanford University and from the Princeton Theological Seminary. After a brief marriage, she served Presbyterian (PCUSA) churches in New York and New England, and also worked for several years in the denomination's offices in New York City.

Carol was a quiet warrior in the women's movement in this mainline Protestant denomination, and a blessing and source of strength for many in the churches she served.

Carol was born February 26, 1944. At M-A she was active on the Board of Welfare, C.S.F., Golden Key and Band. She died from complications of life-long diabetes on April 3, 2011 in Northampton, Massachusetts. Carol is survived by her brother Jay Moseley.
