According to Nita's husband Mark King:

Nita passed away March 25th of 2014 here in Spring Texas located just outside of Houston.   She had two daughters. One from her first marriage, Michele and one with me, Kristin.  Michele had 5 boys and Kristin cannot have children but is married to a great guy.  Michele currently lives in Pine Grove, Ca and Kristin lives in Oakland.
