Jane Longley Walton-McSorley Age 58, loving mother, sister and wife died peacefully at the beach on May 8th, 2008. She was born on September 16th, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA to William A. and Barbara Walton. Jane is survived by her husband Jack; two sons, John and Brian; and her two sisters Connie Walton and Caroline Walton. Jane grew up in Menlo Park CA, graduated from the University of Colorado and was living in Napa, CA. Jane loved books and traveling with her family. She was a master gardener and took great joy from the bounty of flowers, vegetables and trees that came from her garden. The family always included dogs, cats and horses, many of which were rescued from neglect. Jane lived a life full of family, friends, laughter and shared experiences. We will miss the grace, humor and love that she shared so generously with all. In lieu of flowers, we ask those who would like to remember Jane to send a donation to the Hospice By The Bay, 17 E. Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Larkspur, CA 94939. A celebration of Jane's life will be held at the home of Ron and Jodi Souza, 4298 E. Third Avenue, Napa at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17th.
