Joined the Air Force from 1970-1974, then came home and lived in Atlanta ever since. Married in 1978 and did something I said I'd never do, bought a house outside I-285. Ok, so its only 2 miles outside, but still outside. Still live there, and just (happily) divorced last month. Only took us 30 years to figure out we didn't like each other!
I kept the house and our 15 year old and now our other kids decided to move back home since I had plenty of room. That means me, my 15 year old son, my 23 year old daughter, my 28 year old son and his wife. One big happy family! Sounds crazy, but we really all have a ball together. They keep me feeling young. I don't look it, but I feel it. In the words of Jimmy Buffett, "I'm growing older but not up".
I can still fit in my uniform from 1970 and I still wear the "69 is mighty fine" t-shirt from the 20th reunion!

Making one of my rare appearances in homeroom and getting suspended for 3 days for telling Coach Kell to shut the F up so I could hear the announcements. I got to the office and Mr. Miller laughed so hard I thought he was going to pass out. He ran and told Mr.Derthick and he couldn't stop either. They decided that for the rest of the year, I should report to the office every morning instead of homeroom. That turned out to be a real punishment because it meant showing up every morning.
