Beverly (Lynn) Adams

Lynn passed away April 2000.  She attended several colleges in the US and overseas and graduated with a B.Ed and M.Ed from Auburn University in Mathematics.  She taught high school in Alabama, Iowa, and Nebraska and Troy State University in Montgomery.  Lynn was co-chair of the Mathematics Department, Prattville High School in Prattville, Alabama and as an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at Troy State at the time of losing her battle to cancer.  She was married to her high school sweetheart, Russ Black, Class of 1969 and had two daughters, Jami and Tami. Jami graduated with a degree in Mathematics and currently homeschool.  Tami graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and is employed with Airbus.  Everyone may remember Lynn for her athletic abilities.  After Grady, she remained deeply committed to women sports.

What a fantastic lady, her girls must be proud, they obviously have her talents and charisma. MariJayne Nicholas

Wow, what a life she led--and to be so smart. I know her family is proud of her accomplishments. Sorry Beverly is no longer with us.
