WELDON, Suzie  Freeman Weldon, 69, of Atlanta died Saturday morning, February 15th, 2014. She was born in Atlanta, Ga. to Ruth and Clyde Freeman. She was the fourth of 5 sisters. Suzie was an exceptional and compassionate registered nurse for many years. She resided in Ocala, FL, where she became a real estate agent, coordinated volunteers for residents needing health care and was a writer for the Ocala Citizen. Suzie is survived by one child, Dawn Lowe, and one grandson, Dalton Lowe. She is also survived by three sisters, Carol Freeman Hamric and husband Lamar, Nancy Freeman Shealy and husband Bill, and Janice Freeman Roback. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at A.S. Funeral Home in Decatur, GA. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons, Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. She will be buried beside her parents at West View Cemetery.
